“Women with cycle lengths near 29.5 days show the strongest synchronization with both lunar light and gravitational cycles.”
This landmark study analyzed long-term menstrual records and found that women's cycles can intermittently synchronize with both the Moon's luminance (light) and gravimetric (gravitational) cycles. The synchronization appears strongest in women with cycle lengths near 29.5 days and weakens with age and exposure to artificial light at night.
